ABOUT US

International Center for Family Welfare (ICFW) was created in 2015 by a group of informed personalities who saw the need of building cohesive families and amplifying voices beyond societal boundaries to stand up for equality and equity for blacks, women, girls, children, seniors, youths, 2SLGBTQIA+ people and other vulnerable populations.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to serve vulnerable populations in dignity by advocating for gender equality and equity in all sectors and enhancing skills development and capacity building of blacks, young people, girls, women, seniors, immigrants, 2SLGBTQIA+, refugees, people with disabilities and other vulnerable populations.

An inclusive society where vulnerable populations are free to make informed decisions and thrive for a positive change in their communities.

Our general goal is to build strong, cohesive and inclusive families and communities.

Our Values

We strive for more inclusive, just, fair and sustainable communities where vulnerable populations are given equal opportunities.

Our objective is to build strong, cohesive and inclusive families/communities.

We work directly with blacks, women, girls, children and 2SLGBTQIA+ people who are victims of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). We equally work with blacks, seniors, youths, homeless individuals, people living in overcrowded housing, collective sites and slums; immigrants, refugees, people with disabilities, the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis, people living in closed facilities, racialized people, people living in remote locations; and people living in poverty.

Our secondary beneficiaries include faith-based organizations, community based organizations, social centers, clubs and other women’s groups.
